A commitment to protect bees

The destruction of colonies around the world has put a bee in Gattefossé's bonnet and the flavor and fragrance company is doing something about it. Gattefossé added three beehives, each containing 50,000 bees raised in Pérouges (Ain), at its Saint-Priest site. Bees play an essential role as a primary pollinator; the bee accounts for 30% of the human food source (fruits, vegetables and oilseeds).
